UPDATED – Tuesday, October 27
With the highest records for COVID-19 cases taking place, we continue to pray that the number of cases would trend downward in Greeneville and Greene county. Until then we have suspended all Sunday school, Wednesday night gatherings, and other meetings, outside of Sunday morning worship, with the hope of reevaluating the current health and safety status at the end of the year. This update is to help serve as an informational guide on what to expect when attending First Baptist Church for service. As of November 1st, our current schedule will include three morning services.
3 Sunday Morning Worship Services
The next phase of our reopen plans will include Wednesday night Prayer Meetings, Sunday School, small group gatherings, discipleship and Sunday evening activities. There will also be a detailed list of reopen procedures for phase two as the time is closer.
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
OUTREACH
A WAY TO GROW | A WAY TO GIVE BACK | A WAY TO GLORIFY GOD
Joining a ministry is a great way to serve, fellowship, grow in knowledge and on your spiritual journey (Ephesians 4:16). Has a First Baptist Church ministry touched your life in a meaningful way? Now is your chance to make a difference in someone else's life (1 Peter 4:10). Not only will you build relationships, and enjoy the satisfaction of a job worth doing, but more importantly, you will glorify God. (1 Peter 4:11). There are numerous outreach opportunities for individuals at First Baptist Church. For a list of some outreach opportunities look below.
