CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

The Children's Ministry at First Baptist Church exists to awaken a passion in children for the glory of God. We intentionally train children in the faith, giving them a firm foundation, and focus on teaching God’s Word in such a way that they will accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

 

We want to raise up a generation of kids who become passionate about Jesus and the Word, become fully devoted followers of Him, and carry on the discipleship process as teens and adults spreading a passion for the supremacy of Christ to all the nations. We believe the most important spiritual leaders in a child’s life are the parents, and as parents model a lifestyle of worship and Bible study, kids will see how important making disciples really is.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

Visiting us for the first time? Our friendly Greeters will show you where our Kids Check-In is when you arrive. We will meet your family, check your child into class, and answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to meet you! *Please note that there is no childcare during the 8am service.
 

SAFETY

Our Children's Ministry team creates an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in Sunday School or Worship service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check and the kid’s hallway is monitored by safety personnel, as well as security cameras.

WHAT WE TEACH

Your kids will experience an age-appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive, fun and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. The goal at First Baptist Church is for kids to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives.
